We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team. 


The principal accountability is to deliver high value investment advice and/or act as Subject Matter Experts on a particular Investment area (Fixed Income). The job holder will position the investment message of the Business in a portfolio context and provide investment advice directly to clients either on a regular basis or as required. This job category also devises prospect pitches with Relationship Management.


The job holder will be a member of the Global Fixed Income Subcommittee and will work closely with global and regional fixed income teams in order to contribute towards the formulation of fixed income views, construction of high conviction and bond universe lists. He/She will focus on the promotion of the Fixed Income view to the front office in Switzerland and for managing a team of three fixed income specialists.


The role involves active promotion and management of the fixed income advisory mandates, which includes proactive trade generation, risk monitoring, client communication and reporting.


The role will require proactive business development and collaboration with internal stakeholders in order to broaden the product offering in line with the objectives of the product platform


In this role, you will:



  • Creation, Promotion and Management of fixed income portfolios on an advisory basis – including direct communication to advisory mandate clients

  • Trade idea generation, market analysis (top down and bottom up), participation to credit committees, presentation of trends, valuations and fundamentals updates on corporate credit, participation in client calls, reviews and investment proposals

  • Collaboration with other product desks (funds, structured products, FX, strategy, etc) to create and promote trade ideas, such as Credit Linked Notes, Cross Currency or Interest Rate Swaps on bond portfolios, etc.

  • Partnering with Relationship Managers to offer appropriate investment solutions to ultra/high net worth clients

  • Attracting/enhancing high net worth client relationships and profitability

  • May be accountable for assessing client needs, developing a comprehensive investment strategy, co-ordinating sales and execution against that strategy, and monitoring the performance and appropriateness of the client’s overall investment portfolio

  • Job holder is expected to involve other Investment Departments, Compliance, Risk and Marketing where appropriate to improve client’s portfolios and align with risk profile

  • Ensure Business requirements and challenges are captured and resolved prior to future service launch

Control and monitor the activities to remain compliant on an ongoing basis whilst keeping in mind all the risk factors related to the Role Purpose. Polyvalent to actively interact with both internal (PS, IC & RM) and external clients

Qualifications

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:



  • At least 10year experience in a top-tier global Investment bank, wealth management or PB with an international client base.

  • Corporate credit market knowledge, including balance sheet analysis, to be able to judge the addition / deletion of a bond from the Bond lists.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team

  • Sound judgment, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrity.

  • Strong presenter to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Minimum of BA/BS degree in business, finance or engineering and/or CFA.

  • Fluent English, including writing.
