For our Propulsion & Controls (PPC) organization based in Zürich, Switzerland we are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for Converter Engineering who will be in charge of the Project Engineering and / or Product Development of the electrical part of converters and its subassemblies
Main tasks:
- Concept evaluation for converters and its subassemblies in close cooperation with the mechanical engineering
- Electrical design of complete converters including the related documentation (e.g. electrical circuit diagrams and operation manuals)
- Optimization of the IGBT-control by programmable Gate Drive Units
- Specification of investigation-, type and routine tests and analysis of the test results
- Support for converters in operation worldwide
- As Project-Engineer responsible for the assigned work packages in terms of quality, time and costs
Qualifikationen
- Bachelor / Master degree in Electrical Engineering
- Preferably 2-3 years experience in Development or Project Engineering
- Experience with Powerelectronics core components (IGBTs, Gate Drive Units) or with Converter-Modules and Converter-Systems
- MS-Office, ECAD, Tools such as Matlab, Simplorer or LabView
