Mission


Join the IoT Security Evaluations Laboratories team to build secure IoT solution by supporting team experts and external customers.


 


Provide security expertise to strengthen existing and future IoT customers’ products and devices.


 


Reenforce our ‘Deep machine learning’ capabilities, by searching and developing new methods and algorithms for deep machine learning in the area of the attacks such side channel and faults.


 


Work within a team of highly skilled security experts to assess threats, encompassing the next generation of attacks both at the hardware and software level.


Responsibilities



  • IoT systems analyses:

    • Deliver security analyses on IoT devices, covering hardware, software and communication aspects.

    • Potential analysis targets: consumers electronics, medical appliances, power metering, etc.



 



  • Deep Machine Learning (30% of time):

    • Search and develop new methods and algorithms for deep machine learning in the field of side channel and faults attacks.

    • Format and adapt data collected from different sources of measurement.

    • Monitor activity of publications.



 


In the mid-term the candidate could be required to perform security code reviews and threat analysis for instance.


Requirements / Profile



  • Experience:

    • Background in Cyber Security (preferred), electronics or computer science.

    • Good understanding of security concepts.

    • Knowledge in Data processing and cryptographic domain.

    • Direct experience with Side channel attack is a plus.

    • Knowledge of network testing aspects is a plus.

    • Ability to code in a scripting language (Python, Matlab, Perl, etc.).

    • Background in programming languages, C/C++, Java, Javascript, etc.

    • Strong analytical skills and able to quickly extract big-picture views from data.

    • “Out of the Box” approach for assessment of security targets and attack methods.



 


 



  • Languages:

    • Fluent English is essential, French and German are a strong asset.
