Operates very closely to the business - Hybrid tech/business role:
Hands-on design, test and implement decision strategies based on business priorities, available advanced analytics models and available data, e.g., maintaining and configuring the NBO/NBA logic, combining various models into next best action, experimenting with real time events and discovering impact drivers, prioritizing the right strategies to achieve business targets including arbitrating across use cases according to the business priorities and model AA models
Gather requirements and priorities from business to improve decisioning
Be the critical link between BI & Advanced Analytics teams and business
Owns backlog of business priorities
What we look for in an applicant:
Quantitative degree, e.g., MSc. in Econometrics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering etc.
3+ years of experience in using advanced analytics on business problems, preferably in commercial areas and 2+ years in Python/R hands-on experience in building predictive models and doing data science
Very good PMO and Stakeholder management skills
Very strong in consulting and shaping future architectures
Leading the transformation process from mass campaigning to NBO driven 1:1 campaigning
Tech-savvy and experience with MarTech
Strong business acumen to solve business problems while applying advanced analytics in the right way
Strong understanding of algorithms, machine learning and applying algorithms
Hands-on mentality and strong persuasiveness
Preferred: experience in configuring and working with PEGA
Preferably experience in telecommunications industry
Fluent in german and english (spoken and written)
