Position Summary


 


At Nestlé Research & Development Konolfingen, near Bern / Switzerland, we develop new products, processes and packaging concepts in the areas of Milk and Nutrition for Nestlé worldwide. In addition, we also provide technical assistance to our factories around the world.


As a “Manufacturing Support Intern”, you will be supporting process development projects in the product category Nestlé Health Science.

A day in the life of Manufacturing Support Intern


 


Give support to CAPEX and I/R projects under the supervision of a Nestlé collaborator:
•    Perform literature and patent search related to the product category and technology
•    In collaboration with Nestlé colleagues, define the areas to explore and the trial plan
•    Plan, prepare and run bench scale and/or pilot scale trials
•    Organize related product analyses and summarize the outcome
•    Organize meetings with concerned team, and regular update
•    Document, report and present project results internally to the company


What will make you successful


 


•    Master degree student in product and process engineering, food technology or related for first working experience
•    Strong interest in powder technology (spray-drying), product improvement and process optimization
•    At ease and cooperating well in a team, autonomous, organized, pro-active
•    Good written and oral English communication, presentation and reporting skills; German an asset
