Our team at Oracle Labs does research and development in the domain of autonomous application development. The vision of this team is to enable Oracle cloud customers to run their applications on a platform that is self-driving, self-repairing and self-securing. Such a platform is designed to remove manual labor by providing features that automatically improve application characteristics such as performance, security, and availability, using machine learning and data analytics state-of-the-art techniques.

Oracle Labs is a department of Oracle devoted to research. Our research is focused on real-world outcomes: we aim to develop technologies that will someday play a significant role in the evolution of technology and society. The Autonomous Application Platform team is based in Zurich (Switzerland), Redwood Shores (USA), and Casablanca (Morocco).

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.



As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.



Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
