Global Supplier Quality Engineer - Electronics

Your area of responsibility

Within Global Commodity Management you will progress our global strategy to ensure parts quality from our suppliers:

• Responsibility of quality for assigned commodities at corporate level. Early supplier involvement to secure that supplier are merged in the best way


• Visiting supplier to ensure the required quality of new parts (product and service)


• In collaboration with Commodity Manager contribution to supplier development (quality, OTD, price) to improve operational excellence by driving execution of existing agreements, improvement actions and leading supplier audits


• Negotiate and release supplier quality agreements


• Reduction of failure costs


• Supplier monitoring and performance management for the assigned commodities


• Responsible to plan visits and audits


• KPI tracking

Your profile

After finishing your technical university degree (FH/TS), continuing educations as a quality engineer or auditor, you have gained several years of professional experience as supplier quality manager. Additionally, you bring technical understanding of manufacturing processes with focus on printed circuit board assembly, printed circuit board manufacturing, cable assembly, electromechanical components and connectors. Detailed knowledge in metrology and experience as VDA 6.3 auditor would be an advantage. You have an excellent command of spoken as well as written English and ideally, at least a good working knowledge of German. You are a communicative, responsible person, with a wide range of project or leader experience. Finally, your willingness to travel is up to 60%.
