Short-Term Postdoctoral Researcher

The researcher will support and coordinate the preparation of a grant application for an international research project on epistemological and religious foundations of the ecological crisis, with an inter epistemological and interreligious approach and a theoretical focus on environmental and/or postcolonial studies and critical theory. Start of employment: 1st October 2021. The contract is limited to 8 months. If the grant application is successful, the employment may be extended.

•Support in preparation of publicationsRequirements•Ph.D. in philosophy or other relevant fields of the humanities or social sciences, with theoretical orientation

•Experience in preparing grant applications

•Dedicated to think and work independently and across conventionally separate disciplines, with strong social skills

•Strong English and basic German language skills We offer•Work experience with established scholars in developing innovative and intellectually challenging research in an international environment

•Integration into ongoing research projects in comparative epistemology, critical theory, conflict studies, religious studies

•Flexible work hours and place according to agreement
