Your field of responsibility

This position offers an exciting opportunity for you to join the forward-thinking Credit Suisse Lending Services team and to be part of the innovative Credit Digitalization Journey. This is key position as Senior JAVA Solution Engineer within the Digital Banking Capabilities IT where you are actively involved in delivering digital solutions to our clients and prospects.

You will have the chance to work with modern architecture and usage of the newest technology like Angular, J2EE, Rest Services, Micro Services, Spring Boot, Oracle DB, Business Rule & Process Engine (Flowable), Selenium and Bounty Test Framework.

Your skills and experience

With the following skills you will be successful in this position:

• At least 3 - 5 years professional experience in Java development and solution architecture as a Full Stack Developer (FSD), ideally paired with deep knowledge in agile project delivery.


• A degree in information management, computer science or equivalent and you possess strong Java programming skills (Java 8, JPA, CDI, Jersey) and a solid grasp of the JEE technologies (JEE 8, EJB, Rest Services) and web technologies (Angular 7/8/9).


• Strong dedication to test-driven development (JUnit, Continuous Integration and Test Automation).


• Experience in financial services and banking products, knowledge in the area of lending services is an advantage.


• Strong soft skills that enable you to handle co-workers with different backgrounds and integrate in the existing Project team.


• You are a committed problem solver with a positive personality and can-do mentality, who is comfortable with driving and leading change and questioning the status quo.


• Proficient in English combined with good German skills.
