Manager, Artwork & Packaging Development

This position is accountable for developing artwork for printed packaging materials of the product portfolio, across internal site(s) and CMOs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and compliant availability of artworks to support worldwide market launches, other product lifecycle activities such as site transfers, and regulatory labeling variations. He/She also ensures the necessary activities related to packaging development. Skills/Knowledge Required Minimum Advanced professional certificate in Graphical Industry profession (i.e. CFC) Minimum of 10 years in artwork and packaging design Very strong knowledge of the cGMP and its application in a pharmaceutical company, Medical Device, or Food Industry Excellent artwork preparation and modification skills Strongly result-driven personality who defines and monitors the artwork team's activities Ability to work effectively with groups in other geographical locations Strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required Able to work with independently, partner effectively with other functions at global level as well as with Contract Manufacturers Strong work ethics and attention to detail, relentlessly following up to ensure highest quality of work and on-time deliverable Very strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant graphic design software (Mandatory) Knowledge of comparison report tooling as GlobalVision software Strong knowledge of the most common MS Office software Good Leadership and organizational skills ISO 15930 Standard certification a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in French and English Duties and Responsibilities Supervise the compliant artwork activities from the artwork team, monitoring priorities if needed, to ensure timely delivery of all printed packaging materials as requested in the project plans for launches and for labeling variations, for all products portfolio and for international markets Evaluate Change Control for artwork revisions in order to implement the appropriate changes Drive Deviations Investigations and leading root cause identification to apply corrective actions and preventive actions, as well improve procedure and work practice. Supervise cGMP Documentation revision to ensure cGMP compliance in a timely manner Support and share knowledge with apprentices, interns, temporary contractors, Artwork Designers and Artwork Proofreaders. Collaborate with other departments, across the company network, on artwork/packaging projects and improvements Technical coordination of the new product launch and/or regulatory labeling variation Planning consolidation for new product launch and/or regulatory labeling variation Technical definitions of the artwork and printed packaging materials Collection and consolidation of the necessary information for a new launch and/or regulatory labeling variation Management of artwork preparation and/or modification and packaging development Partner and support Regulatory market (internal or partners) Partner and support packaging internal site(s), CMOs and printer suppliers Deployment of approved Artwork to the internal site(s), CMOs and printer suppliers Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
