Job Description

We are looking for a person (M/F) to join the Innovation department of the R&D team. For this position, the company is looking for an experienced Project Manager whose main tasks will be to prepare, submit and manage internal and external projects.

Responsibilities

• Internal R&D/Industrial/other project organization, scoping, submission and management of development plans


• External R&D/Industrial/other project proposal preparation, submission and management of development plans


• Coordinate all activities across multiple project teams


• Initial and recurring monitoring of project cost- and time-related estimates as well as risk analysis and mitigation


• Technical point of contact for project stakeholders


• Management of sub-contractors


• Contributions to Product Management tasks, as part of project scope definition


• Provide relevant periodic or ad-hoc reporting on scheduling, cost and risk to various internal and external stakeholders


• Implement planning and control procedures to provide visibility over project progress using internal GEOSATIS or external tools

Requirements

• Engineering or industrial MSc/BSc degree from a leading university, PhD is a plus


• Team spirit and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional and agile environment


• Well organized, able to produce clean, concise documentation and reports, curious, creative, with a passion for design and an eye for the smallest of details


• 5+ years R&D project management experience, with certification considered as a plus


• Experience in submitting and managing international and / or national R&D projects (European Space Agency, Innosuisse, Horizon 2020, etc..) is a definite plus


• Design experience or UX/UI design using User Cantered Design methods is a plus


• Proficient English written and oral skills (other languages a plus)


• Enthusiasm and solid communication and problem-solving skills


• Some experience working with Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools Atlassian Confluence/Jira is a plus


• Travel availability both abroad and within Switzerland
