Our “Photovoltaics” division, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland is looking for a:

Your mission

You will assist the Division Head in all management tasks of Division “Photovoltaics and Energy Management” and you will be in charge of the financial operations and daily operation. One part of the mission is to support actively the development of the CSEM PV-center, one of the largest applied research group in the field of sustainable energy in Switzerland, and you will grow and develop this center around the pillar of photovoltaics, energy storage, digital grid and special energy applications. You will proactively contribute to project aquisition, R&D activities, business development and technologies dissemination.

Your responsibilities

• Managing the division financial controlling together with Sectors Heads and Division Head and collaborate closely with CSEM financial services


• Ensuring a proper operation of the infrastructure, and managing directly a small team in charge of equipments/room and administration


• Driving various internal projets, setting-up or helping set projects with various external partners, running selected high level projects independently


• Supporting pro-actively the management team in establishing the strategy of CSEM in the field of sustainable energy


• Representing CSEM at various public and private events, drives various customer’s and consortium’s meeting


• Playing a decisive role into transform research opportunities into succesfull business ideas

Your profile

Know-how

• Superior level of education (MSc, PhD) in engineering or science with usually min. 10 years of successful professional and management experience


• High level overview of the field of energy or related engineering topics as well as in-depth understanding and knowledge of various concepts and principles.


• Experience in people and basic financial management


• Proven experience in an industrial management position


• Fluent in both English and French (German would be a plus)

• Natural curiosity and ability/interest to deal with multidisciplinary activities

• Excellent listening skills and ability to instill confidence in a team
