Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Impact:

In this role you will:

• Assist our clients in the selection, implementation, and support data management tools solutions, specifically SAP MDG


• Support our clients in introducing data governance to their organization and bringing more transparency into governance process execution and data quality management


• Design and lead strategic and tactical data governance and migration initiatives, data cleansing and data profiling initiaitives as well as data warehouse design, modelling and implementation for our customers


• Consult our clients on MDG and S/4HANA migration and deployment options, as well as roadmap differences between releases and new innovations


• Analyze business processes and their corresponding requirements and find the best implementation option in SAP MDG and surrounding system components (S/4HANA), including the work on configuration, functional solutioning and specifications for custom developments, testing, training, hypercare and incidents, and change requests


• Use your knowledge and experience on design, build and test of integration solutions between SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA across all phases of an SAP implementation project (design, build, test, document, release and maintain)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 3 years of experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
  Good conceptual expertise in MDG-BP and/or MDG-M e.g. number ranges, BP Roles, hierarchies


• Experience with:
  – MDG process consulting, modeling and consolidation
  – Workflow concepts and BRF including enhanced validation and derivation rulesets
  – SAP MDG DRF and SAP PO / PI interface communication
  – MDG Consolidation
  – Knowledge about mappings utilizing SMT


• Ideally work experience with MDG FPM


• An ability to pro-actively take ownership of, and analytical problem solving skills


• Excellent verbal/written communications skills


• Fluent in English and German (written and verbal)


• Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience or knowledge in applying agile project delivery methods, e.g. Scrum, SAFe
