Pictet Asset Services provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.
As a member of the Client Solutions & Innovation team, you will be responsible for bringing new products and services to our clients. The scope will include all service enhancements that impact Pictet Asset Services (PAS) across our three client segments (funds, institutions and external asset managers), with specific focus on the implementation of our digital strategy.
The role is based in Geneva. However, the successful applicant, who will regularly interact with the team of Luxembourg-based product specialists and project managers, will cover clients serviced out of all PAS locations (Geneva, Luxembourg, London, Monaco, Paris, Singapore and Hong Kong).
• Developing an understanding of new products and initiatives from the early stages of their lifecycle by reviewing the specifications, taking part in the sprint reviews and contributing to the user acceptance tests (UAT).
• Preparing and rolling out the go-to-market strategy – defining the go-to-market plan, organising the training, preparing the documentation, preparing the set-up activities, setting up the pricing policy, communicating internally and training the Level 1 support teams.
• Promoting the use of Pictet products and services – organising both internal and external (for clients) training on specific products, following up on product/service usage, actively contributing to product enhancements, etc.
• Acting as a key contributor throughout the lifecycle of new products by bringing the “voice of the client” to the analysis.
• Organising and following the client onboarding process – launching external communications, following the product activation and helping clients/users to use Pictet products/services efficiently (by means of dedicated on-site or virtual training sessions).
• Helping the business developers and client relationship managers in their dealings with prospects and clients.
• University degree or experience deemed equivalent.
• Proven experience in asset servicing, with at least two to three years’ actual experience in product management, consulting, client servicing or client onboarding.
• Experience in Front functions involving direct contact with sophisticated clients.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one of our three client segments: fund managers, external asset managers or asset owners (typically Swiss pension funds), with good general knowledge of the other two.
• In-depth knowledge of front-end tools for professional clients.
• Keen interest in product management and innovation.
• Skilled user of PowerPoint and Excel.
• Fluent in French and English; good level of fluency in German or Spanish would be a plus for client presentation purposes.
• Outstanding presentation skills and client-oriented attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player.
• Flexible, independent and well organised.
• The candidate must be resident in Switzerland.
