We are currently looking for a


Sourcing Specialist


As an experienced Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:



  • Managing the sourcing of materials and vendors to support requirements consistent with quality, reliability, service, cost and delivery, assembling and managing RFI project team through RFX/RFI process

  • Evaluating suppliers, creating and maintaining contracts, negotiating pricing, and building strong vendor relationships in support of primary and secondary packaging and device categories.

  • Supporting Sourcing led projects and strategic objectives, as well as externally led projects where required.

  • Supporting creation of Sourcing Plans, including obtaining stakeholder feedback and participating in opportunity analysis activities

  • Implementation of Sourcing Plans through stakeholder alignment and effective management of assigned projects and associated activities.

  • Maximizing supplier performance and supporting the company’s business savings plans, and key goals and objectives

  • Collaborating with Global Category Leads to review new/open projects and maintain fluid communication flow regarding project specifications, costs, timelines, and expectations.

  • Working closely with the manufacturing and global function teams to proactively identify and developing external capability to support strategic sourcing opportunities

  • Managing the long-term relationships with selected key strategic suppliers to form deep, mutually benefitting partner relationships and understanding

  • Facilitating communication among suppliers to ensure relationships are delivering their ongoing and intended (optimal) value


Who you are:


Following qualifications will contribute to your success:



  • Completed apprenticeship / Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, supply management, or related field preferred

  • Supply management experience, with demonstrated leadership

  • Purchasing Management Certification preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating complex supply agreements

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, make recommendations, and draw valid conclusions in a timely and accurate manner

  • Strong communication skills in German & English, oral and written

  • Sound judgment and reasoning skills

  • Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously

  • Strong computer skills with ability to work in diverse applications

  • Customer focus
