We are looking for a


Director, Head of Data Analytics


As a successful Director, Head of Data Analytics, you make the link between the CSL Behring business strategy and priorities and meaningful data analytics. Acting as a business partner for the diverse functions within the network and guaranteeing the link with the manufacturing sites, you are responsible to lead data analytics initiatives in line with the organization and transversally lead a strong Data Analytics teams to ensure milestones are met and the business is supported.


These are your responsibilities in detail:



  • Leading the data analytics center of excellence, overseeing critical and business-relevant data analytics activities in alignment with overall CSL vision and strategic objectives.

  • Understanding that information and data are key business assets and operationalizing the application of data and analytics in order to deliver optimal performance, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Transforming data into knowledge to drive appropriate business decisions within CSL E2E operations network.

  • Participating in various committees & data science networks internally and externally as necessary to influence data capabilities and competencies within CSL.

  • Driving innovation and best practices regarding data and analytics throughout the CSL E2E operations network

  • Maintains and improves existing data and analytic tools across CSL.

  • Identifies and leads opportunities for infrastructure / process / scientific consulting improvement initiatives and related standards.

  • Promote best practices and tools for accessing data to enable data-driven decisions throughout the E2E operations network.

  • Establishes CSL as an industry leader by actively participating in data conferences, workshops, seminars.


Who you are:


As a passionate partner who drives initiatives and acts as a partner for the site organization, the below competencies contribute to your success:      



  • University degree/MBA and extensive experience in Data Analytics

  • Relevant work experience in the industry of 10 years, ideally at multi-national organizations with exposure to different functional areas

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in using different data analytics methods to underline and reflect business strategies and partner and guide different business leaders according to meaningful measurements and analytics

  • Empowering leader with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Innovative thinker who deeply understands business acumen and drives for results by his excellent strategic agility and decision quality

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and agendas

  • Excellent stakeholder focus and collaborative mindset, ability to inspire others and at all times exemplifying CSL employee brand and values

  • Attentive communication skills, understanding your counterpart, strong ability to build-up trustful and forward-thinking business relationships as well as keeping your stakeholders informed, using influencing & negotiation skills if appropriate

  • Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills
