Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Development and maintenance of the accounting and evaluation standards of the insurance technology


• Regularly reporting the cash positions as well as assisting in the cash forecast process


• Supporting the implementation of IFRS17 as well as the transfer from HGB accounting standard to IFRS


• Preparation of group consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis


• Supporting in the analysis and implementation of new IFRS accounting standards as well as in the creation of procedural instructions on various accounting topics


• Working together on projects with IT, controlling and other departments to maintain and further develop clean reporting


• Liaising with external auditors

Your profile:

• You have numerous years of experience in the accounting team of an international insurance company / audit experience with focus on clients within the insurance sector


• You have good technical knowledge of accounting in insurance, reinsurance and preferably have experience with Solvency II


• You are a hands-on person with good knowledge of IFRS / IFRS17


• You have experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for a group of companies


• You are highly skilled in MS Office especially Excel


• You are a team player and can at the same time work independently on projects


• You have the resilience to be able to perform in a very fast paced environment


• You have good communication skills and are fluent in English. Fluency in German is highly preferable
