The Structural Heart Training & Education  (T&E) team develops strategies for the EMEA area. To continue to build our market leading T&E offering, we are currently looking for our European Headquarter a:

A Day in the Life

May include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement the TAVI (Transcatheer Aortic Valve Implantation) and Congenital T&E strategy


• Assess training needs based on actual knowledge and feedback from field and customers, suggest ways that training can help meet established sales and marketing objectives, and provide guidance on the delivery of educational programs


• Working closely with the BU, review existing courses, propose and develop new courses within TAVI/ Congenital curriculum


• Support new product launches with In-Service


• Work with Western Europe country leadership on specific strategies and open local certified training center when appropriate


• Organize Specific Boards to address specific training needs and identify appropriate strategies to address them


• Recruit faculty for courses; assist them in developing their competencies as trainers, giving them feedback on their presentations, and helping them to deliver their curriculum in the most effective manner

Main responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.


• Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.


• Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives.


• Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training.


• May utilize trainers with technical expertise.


• Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.


• Work closely with the global business to organize Proctor meetings including follow up


• Work closely with Marketing Communications and Marketing on conventions, to organize and run training activities in support of convention strategies.


• Creates  and determines the format of the courses (face to face, digital, hybrid) based on customer needs and HCP profiles. Create training pathways, including eLearning


• Manage   budget of events under his/her responsibility

Must Have

• Minimum 5 years experience in medical devices


• Clinical/Medical university degree or Baccalaureate degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience ideally in TAVI


• Broad knowledge of project management


• Marketing / Communication background and/or proven experience


• Good  scientific knowledge or sensitivity, willing to learn more about TAVI and transcatheter procedures


• Good understanding of MedTech rules


• Abilit to work in a big company with process and guidelines


• Comfortable in a fast pace market


• Willingness to travel at least 50% of your time in Western Europe
