Junior Web Developer

We are a cutting-edge, software company based in Zurich, Switzerland in search of a Junior Web Developer able to collaborate with the team in Wallisellen, Switzerland office and worldwide development staff to ensure a seamless continuous development and deploy environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Participate in the planning process for the organization's short-and long-term product and technology strategies 


• Design and implement the core components of LzLabs' products


• Drive internal product and component optimization, efficiency and scalability 


• Work closely with external and offshore development teams to ensure component deliverables are within estimate and scope 


• Be a role model to the development and operations teams external and internal 


• Work with the executive team to communicate the product's roadmap 

Skills and Qualifications 

• Possess a B.S. Computer Science Engineering or related degree, Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar is a plus 


• More than 1 year of prior work experience in software design and product development 


• Prior work experience working with external and offshore development teams 


• Experience in software design architecture, development and engineering 


• Excellent English communication Skills


• Extensive experience developing and delivering applications 


• Strong background in enterprise software, architecture, software development, 


• information security and related methodologies. Ideally in one or more of:

o Linux & Open Source Technologies
o z/OS Assembler and system programming
o Experience in developing scalable systems 

• Knowledge of Product Management, Product Development and acquisition of key technologies is a plus. 


• Extensive experience programming for Db2 and Postgres 


• Experience with RDB application design 


• Customer focused, service oriented and results driven 


• Good communication skills and able to articulate product details to executives and 


• Customers

• Ability to set and manage own priorities 


• Experience with a start-up company is a plus
