The Position


As part of the Roche Diagnostics IT (DIA IT) - Enterprise Solutions and Services (ESS) - SAP Hub organization, the (Senior) Solution Architect SAP Hub Quality Management/Control will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance and support of Quality Management/Control solutions.


The ERP SAP ECC-based Quality Control solutions mainly support the DIA Global Operations business. In collaboration with internal and external, strategic suppliers, the Quality Management/Control solutions have to be provided in accordance to the appropriate service level agreements (SLAs), Roche service management processes (Incident Management, Change Management, etc.), and Roche quality and documentation standards. 


    


Within the global DIA IT ESS Organization, the (Senior) Solution Architect - SAP Hub Quality Management/Control provides leadership and experience with:



  • Create and design solutions, procedures and business processes that meet business and technological requirements within the Global Template, Global Operations ERP system


  • Evaluate alternative informatics technologies where required and research industry best practices and emerging trends


  • Optimize business processes and software solutions at a global level in the area of expertise


  • Domain expertise and implementing Global Operations or lifecycle related projects in area of Quality Management/Control and its integration into other areas


  • Participate in sprints to deliver improvements and enhancements in an agile matter


  • Develop and manage the respective business critical knowledge within the above area of expertise


  • Focus to lead and work towards achieving the Roche Ten-Year Ambitions as well as ESS Priorities


  • May have accountability for a small team of specialists or a (sub) project team



This position is located in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.


Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering or equivalent field with 10 years+ experience in supporting hands on IT processes, analyzing business processes, business requirements, delivering projects and programs of high complexity and risks and supporting information systems projects.


You bring 10+ years of experience with SAP ECC – Quality Management/Control as well as profound experience in SAP PP/Manufacturing and SAP Plant Maintenance


You have working experience in a global environment with an offshore partner, providing the required governance.


In addition, you bring the following skills and competencies:



  • Strong cross module knowledge regarding adjacent modules like IM/WM and FI and related processes


  • Intensive knowhow and experience in SAP development, especially ABAP, debugging, enhancement technologies and Interface technologies


  • Strong experience in template architecture/creation including definition of global processes and rollout of template solutions


  • Experience with Data Integration technologies like Mulesoft or SAP based APIs


  • Experiences working in an agile team based on DevOps principles


  • Experience with ITIL desirable


  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with related processes in the area of batch and serial number handling


  • Experience in working in a regulated environment and with Computer System Validation


  • Strong communication skills


  • International mindset with clear goal orientation


  • Able to lead change

This position requires international travel up to 25%.
