Investment Controller Asset Management

Your field of responsibility

 

Join us as Investment Guideline Controller within the Investment Guideline Implementation team in our Asset Management division located in Zurich. You work in a team of experts in investment compliance. Your responsibility include the analysis of discretionary mandate contracts as well as Swiss, Luxembourgish and Irish fund prospectuses, implement and test investment guidelines on the investment management platform (BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM). You advise our Investment Guideline Monitoring Team and interact with different stakeholders like Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance in an international environment. Our clients are mainly institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance companies and external management companies.

Your skills and experience

 

You’ll be a good match, if you have:



  • University degree or equivalent education 

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Investment Guideline Monitoring/Implementation

  • Expert understanding of financial instruments including derivatives

  • Evidence of a deep understanding of the regulatory environment such as the Investment regulations for pension funds and for collective investment schemes (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Ireland)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

  • Experience in working in an international work environment

  • Exposure to investment management platform Aladdin is a plus

  • Diligent work approach with respect for our risk and control obligations

  • Fluency in German and English is a must, French and Italian a plus
