Your field of responsibility

 

Credit Suisse's software engineers develop the next-generation tools that help Risk and Compliance fight financial crime. We are looking for engineers who bring in expertise from different areas, including data modelling, big data warehouse and distributed computation, machine learning and natural language processing.
You will be assigned to a specific project and will be expected to be versatile, independent and enthusiastic to solve complex problems, as well as push the boundaries of what we do and how we do it.
In your role you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions and will work in a scrum setup to ensure continuous delivery of product features.

Your skills and experience

 

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field/degree, and/or equivalent work experience

  • Solid experience as Python Developer and familiar with PySpark and distributed programming 

  • Understanding of databases, data structures and SQL 

  • Comfortable working with large, complex data sets to solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed 

  • Comfortable with NLP algorithms, problems and metrics

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase 

  • Understanding of machine learning development life-cycle, algorithms, libraries and performances metrics
