As a Senior Credit Underwriter Large Swiss Corporates you will analyze, assess, rate and underwrite credit risks for the largest Swiss corporates and Multinationals as well as for cash flow based acquisition and leveraged finance transactions for selected private equity sponsors predominately in the Swiss and Western European market. You will either approve credit risks according to your own credit competence or present the credit approval requests to senior CRM management. Additionally, you will establish standardized credit agreements, review and approve credit documentations from outside counsels in collaboration with our front organization and legal department and reflect the transaction parameters in the banks credit system. For event driven financing requests, you will be part of a deal team which usually consists of the relationship manager, a financing specialist from the structured finance area, a representative from investment banking (if M&A, debt or equity capital market instruments are involved), a syndication or credit risk hedging specialist (if de-risking is required) and a representative from legal and compliance. Furthermore, you will work on divisional as well as cross-divisional strategic projects and you will act as subject matter expert on cash flow based lending topics.
You will be part of a team of experienced credit underwriters as well as the deal team, and have the opportunity to collaborate with clients and different internal and external partners. You will also work very closely with our credit portfolio management colleagues on credit requests and life-cycle management for existing clients.
