Internship in the M&A and Equity/ Debt Capital Markets Advisory team

Position Overview

Overview:

During the internship, you will receive guidance and training in all technical aspects of our business and work alongside our global and local product, industry, and country experts on M&A as well as capital market transactions for major Swiss clients across industries.

Corporate Finance provides the full range of investment banking products and services for our clients, including financial advisory in Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Equity and Debt Capital Market transactions, such as IPOs and bond offerings.

Your key responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation of client and marketing presentations as well as in the execution of M&A and ECM transactions


• Work on a broad spectrum of corporate finance topics, including the analysis of companies’ strategic and financial profiles as well as in-depth industry research and valuation work

Your skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree attendee, ideally in finance or economics


• Previous work experience in finance or (investment) banking is an asset


• Good understanding of the finance industry as well as current business and economics environment


• Strong quantitative and numerical


• Quick and ambitious learner


• Creative problem-solving skills


• Good communication and presentation skills


• High degree of professionalism and motivation, as well as strong drive and commitment


• Ability to work under pressure in a vibrant environment and dealing with multiple requests at the same time


• Good skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word


• Fluency in English and German


• Keen interest in the Swiss corporate landscape as well as willingness to develop a long-term career in Switzerland
