Job Description


The Global UC & Contact Center Engineer is part of a team of engineers responsible for administrating, expanding and improving the Cisco voice and Genesys contact center environment for world-wide offices of the Straumann Group. Operational as well as project-related tasks are both part of the role. 



  • Administration of several Cisco CUCM/Call Manager and Cisco Unity clusters

  • Implement and maintain voice gateways to providers (CUBE)

  • Maintain Genesys contact center environment (user administration, patching, configure widgets, media routing, genesys mobile services, etc.)

  • Conduct contact center related requirement workshops with business departments and translate into feasible contact center interaction routing designs

  • participate in IT projects or support major changes for solutions that interface with Genesys contact center solution (i.e. CRM, Ticketing System)

  • Roll-out VoIP and CTI/contact center solutions to new offices world-wide

  • Train end-users and supervisors on VoIP and Contact Center solutions during on-site or remote roll-out activities

  • International travel is required (10-20%)


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience

  • Strong background in the areas of IT network, VoIP/UC, and contact center solutions

  • Experience in working with Genesys 

  • Cisco CCNA or CCNP Collaboration certificate is a plus

  • Genesys certification is a plus

  • Experience in IT requirements engineering and IT project management

  • Energetic, straightforward and performance-driven professional with entrepreneurial spirit and strong execution abilities

  • Analytical skills

  • Good communicator

  • business fluent English, any additional language is an advantage 


Additional Information


This position reports to the Team Manager Voice and Contact Center Solutions and is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
