We are seeking a committed and proactive

Project Electrical Design Engineer 100% (f/m/d)

for the Contracting division of our organization for immediate employment or appointment by agreement. This varied and discerning appointment has a focus on the field of electric drive systems for piston compressors and associated components and comprises the activities listed in the following.

Your main tasks will include:

• Responsibility for the Electrical design according to local or IEC norms for electrical systems and relevant norms for hazardous areas


• Undertake responsibility for design and sizing of electrical components and systems based on project standards and specifications


• Design of interface and connecting diagrams for instrumentation and electrical equipment in project scope


• Electrical and mechanical design for control stations, operator panels, junction boxes, motor control center (MCC) panels, and control panels (Siemens, Allen Bradley)


• Extend and improve standard component libraries of the CAD system


• Improve and extend CAD engineering processed

You have gained a bachelor's degree in either electrical engineering or systems engineering, or similar education. Ideally, you have gained at least 3 years of experience in electrical and instrument design for explosive areas and safety intergrity level principles.

Knowledge of PLC systems like Siemens, Allen Bradley are required, futher PLC systems knowledge and Aucotec Engineering Base CAD system will be an asset. You should also have good negotiating skills and an assertive personality and enjoy working in a team.

Sound knowledge of good written and verbal English skills (business fluent is not required) with German language being an advantage. Further languages do not add an advantage for this position. In addition to well-founded IT skills (CAD, MS-Office, SAP), you will also be very adept at planning and organizing and be able to make use of these skills both independently and in a goal-oriented manner as part of a strong team.
