In this role, you will contribute to Takeda’s mission by having the ability to lead effectively and work concurrently across multiple projects in a goal-oriented, timeline-driven, and dynamic work environment, while ensuring quality and accuracy. A typical day will include:


OBJECTIVES: 



  • Lead and ensure a professional investigation process and case management.

  • Provide consultative support and management of complex employee relation cases to employees, managers and HR partners.

  • Provide guidance on applicable employment laws and HR policies.

  • Bring best practices to the teams and business units.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Partner a certain range of functions & business units in all ER related matters.

  • Gather information and prepare documentation associated with employee relations issues.

  • Work with people managers and HR Partners to prepare appropriate progressive discipline documentation.

  • Lead and conduct workplace investigations on claims of harassment, discrimination and compliance related matters.

  • Provide expert advice, coaching, and assistance to management and HR Partner how to address performance issues and grievances.

  • Serve as subject matter expert for HR Partners and business leaders for procedures related to mass dismissals and internal restructuring.

  • Partner with the legal department to ensure compliancy with the local legislation.

  • Work together with the Labour Relations & Governance Partner to develop principles and guidelines.

  • Contribute to ER best practice and policy development and provide guidance to manager and employees regarding HR policies, procedures and practices.



  • Lead case management actions related to Leave of Absence, Occupational Health, Security etc. and recommend action plans.


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:



  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years experience in Employee Relations, preferably as a Business Partner or in a general HR role.

  • Solid knowledge of applicable labour law, regulations and employment trends.

  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information.

  • People management experience preferred.

  • Good project management skills.

  • Ability to lead, inspire, and get results from non-employee consultants, contractors, and vendors.

  • Demonstrated professionalism under stress and the ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Profound knowledge of MS Office.

  • Native German, proficiency in English.
