Context
The strategy of support to the projects in terms of Learning and Development consists in developing and in structuring OCG (Operational Center Geneva) long-term actions and to propose learning actions adapted to contexts, to deploy as close as possible to the field in order to develop the largest number of health-care workers and to offer a theoretical and practical approach to favor the transfer of knowledge and skills.
In the last years OCG has made substantial efforts to improve the offer of learning spaces related to mental health and psychosocial interventions and, we recently developed a E-Learning in HPCE. However, there are still some challenges and gaps that need to be addressed towards the ambition of structuring a comprehensive package of continued learning development for our workforce to be able to have a systemic PPP approach. Moreover, it has been identified that our field teams face challenges to incorporate Mental Health into Health Promotion activities with a solid community engagement.
Mission
The general objective of the position is to contribute to the improvement of quality of care and OCGs patients and populations as partners (PPP) approach by strengthening the skills and consolidating teamwork between mental health and health promotion teams with a strong focus on community engagement.
Under the technical supervision of Health Promotion and Mental Health Advisors and the managerial supervision of the L&D Medical Training Partner, the Flying Mental Health in Health Promotion Trainer will develop materials and deploy Trainings on how to integrate mental health (MH) in health promotion (HP) activities with community engagement in the field reinforcing the OCG PPP approach.
