Our SAP Master Data Management team serves our clients by building state of the art and future oriented solutions to manage their Master Data assets. We guide the development of strategy, governance, processes, operations, technology and data quality standards to deliver tailored Master Data Excellence solutions. We are looking to strengthen our team with experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultants.

Your role
As a Manager, responsible for S/4HANA Master Data Management, you will have responsibility for:

• Leading the S/4HANA Master Data Management stream - defining the strategy, building out the propositions and Go to Market (GtM) strategy while building a team/delivery model


• Designing an overall approach for S/4HANA Master Data Management (including design, configuration, testing, handover and support) taking a holistic view on data management and considering other areas of good data management such as data governance and records retention


• Designing and implementing a delivery model whereby we develop internally from our existing team over time, source associates/contractors for key skills, leverage our offshore/nearshore delivery centres and recruiting where needed


• Responding to client requests for proposals and/or information – defining the scope and approach, our perspective, creating project plan(s), and identifying the appropriate resources required as well as the appropriate relevant technology (e.g. SAP MDG)


• Developing and delivering demonstrations to showcase the key advantages and capabilities of SAP MDG and related Deloitte S/4HANA accelerators/tools to clients and supporting co-lead demonstrations with other vendors/solutions as appropriate


• Proactively managing risks / issues and dependencies as they arise on client engagements


• Expanding your network of business contacts and developing relationships internally with key Deloitte stakeholders in the UK, Europe and globally.

Your qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent


• 5+ years’ Experience in SAP MDG


• Expertise in implementation of SAP MDG for Customer or Vendor or Material or Financial


• Experience in translating business process requirements into the technical implementation of SAP Master Data Governance


• Expertise in Data Model Enhancement, Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), Business Rules Framework plus (BRF plus).


• Experience in Process Modelling (Entity, Business Activity change, Request type, Workflow, Edition type, Relationship, Data replication techniques, SOA service, ALE connection, Key & value mapping, Data transfer, Export & import master data, Convert master data).


• Practical Experience in process analysis and design as well as ability to use your strong analytical skills in a wide range of different industries.


• Ability to work with limited guidance, in a fast paced, team oriented environment


• Flexibility to travel within Switzerland and Europe up to 80%


• Able to communicate confidently in German and English - any further languages would be an advantage.
