A1196)LocationZurichFunction/Position objectivesAs a Business Analyst in the Projects Department, you will independently drive the assessment and solution development for complex business and technical topics. You will lead your own focused projects or work streams and support the implementation of larger key strategic projects. Your focus areas will include business, process and technical analysis throughout our banking group and across our global locations. You will be exposed to a wide range of business and/or regulatory driven topics in Private Banking, Asset Management and Trading. You will work together with senior project managers as well as internal & external subject matter experts.Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirement analysis and detailed gap assessments on a wide range of topics across the Bank including international locations.

  • Create business requirement documents (BRD) and / or business specification documents, i.e.  translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers and stakeholders.

  • Write test cases and perform UAT.

  • Define and communicate verbally and through written documentation conceptual approaches, prepare solution options / required decisions and document the outcome.

  • Align regularly with primary stakeholders and co-ordinate the needed analysis activities.

  • Collaborate closely with key functions across the bank, in particular IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Products and Front Units.

  • Further develop department internal processes and templates.

Profiles

  • Master’s university degree in a relevant field and/or education in business or finance.

  • At least 7 years of working experience. Business Analyst and Swiss Banking experience required. Private Banking experience would be advantageous.

  • Excellent conceptual, process oriented and analytical problem solving skills.

  • Highly self-driven working style that is pragmatic & outcome oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

  • Team player, ability to work with various, also very senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Full proficiency of the German and English language required; any additional languages would be advantageous.

  • Avaloq knowledge would be an advantage.
