BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (m/f/d)
for the Industrial / Scientific / Medical Segment
YOUR TASKS
› Market guidance: understand market development and identify relevant trends, focus on medical and personal devices.
› Develop strategic positioning in segment: identify the opportunities to make EBV the leading distributor, develop focused segment strategy and align with the sales regions (and other stakeholders)
› Build network and contacts in the industry, cover key shows / committees
› Define EBV solutions, engage with partners to provide solutions
› Select key suppliers per sub-segment, cooperate on roadmaps and programs, develop relationships to business lines and support local relationships
› Identify specific product opportunities in sub-segment
› Develop distinct value propositions, position key products, promote portfolio and pursue new business development in existing and new customers
› Support regions, visit offices & key customer (incl. end-customers) and provide marketing tools to develop business
› Produce and deliver application training; consult the organization on sub-segment topics
› Develop and drive communication plan
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
› Minimum of 5 years sales / marketing / application experience
› Strong technical, product and market knowledge on medical and personal devices
› Electronics Engineer degree or equivalent
› Good to strong communication skills
› Independent, self-responsible work and initiative
› Pro-active and self-driven personality
› Ability to work with matrix organizations and manage stakeholders
› Fluent in English (spoken and written)
› Willingness to travel across Europe
