We are looking for an Event Marketing Associate 100%.


 


Your Tasks



  • Executive the virtual event marketing strategy

  • Virtual exhibitions

    • Plan, manage and execute the virtual exhibitions which Bachem attends

    • Maintain and update the Bachem virtual booth, coordinating internal and external stakeholders for alignment and support

    • Train the sales & marketing teams on virtual booth features, such as chat and engagement tools, and fully prepared to operate the virtual booth

    • Deliver new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the customer experience

    • Deliver post event reports with data-driven analysis including attendee feedback, goal attainment, and recommendations for future event improvements

    • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to update, design and develop digital sales tools and virtual customer touchpoints


  • Webinars

    • Plan and organize webinars taking place both at exhibitions, conferences and other events, as well as standalone webinars hosted by Bachem

    • Lead live event recordings, speaker preparations and session recording

    • Drive all event testing and quality control procedures before and during the events

    • Take responsibility for the success and outcomes of the webinars

    • Elevate Bachem webinar quality through constant evaluation of new digital tools, live streaming options, etc.

    • Deliver post-event reports with data-driven analysis including attendee feedback, goal attainment, and recommendations for future event improvements

    • Drive and deliver best practice documents and process improvement documents



 



  • Support for several global exhibitions

    • In-person exhibitions, conferences & other events

      • For select, key Bachem events, provide additional support to colleagues in event marketing.

        • Support could include coordinating internal and external stakeholders for alignment and support, training the sales & marketing teams on booth set-up, setting up and manning the exhibition booth, etc.





 



  • Event promotion

    • For all event activities:

      • Plan and execute promotion for all key activities according to the promotional plan using channels such as social media, the website, email marketing, etc.

      • Inform the wider Bachem team of upcoming activities

      • Measure and report performance of all events to the Group Leader




 



  • Organizational and administrative work

    • Manage department SAP requisitions and order of print material

    • Support for graphic solutions and artworks for events, advertisements, electronic media and promotional gifts as needed



 


Your Profile



  • BS in Marketing, Event Management, or TV/Video production

  • At least 2 years’ professional experience in marketing, event management or TV/video production

  • Very good presentation and communication skills

  • Experience in project management

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German is valued

  • Knowledgeable with MS Office applications

  • Knowledgeable with Adobe CC suite such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro

  • Knowledge of SAP is valued

  • Experience with webinar tools such as Zoom, MS Teams, ON24 or similar tools


 


Desirable



  • Prior hands-on experience in live streaming and/or webinar production

  • Prior experience working in the industry of life sciences, chemistry, bio sciences or pharmaceutical is valued

  • Experience in working within a matrix organization is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce is valued
