Independently plan and perform maintenance activities on the local physical and virtual server infrastructure (HP, Hyper-V)
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Troubleshoot issues and outages, and act to restore the operational functioning of our technical infrastructure
Install and configure software and hardware
Ensure information security through access controls, backups and user awareness
Contribute to the internal library of technical documentation, IT manuals processes and procedures
Conceptual planning & implementation of the company reporting system upgrade
Job Requirements
Technical training (minimum level apprenticeship) in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
Proven experience as System Administrator (or similar) would be a plus
Experience with MS SQL Server, plus the ability to code in .Net and Visual Basic for customized Client Access
Experience with databases and server maintenance, system security & data backup/recovery
Resourcefulness and problem-solving capacity
Willingness to learn multiple custom-made bank system applications
Excellent communication skills
Business fluency in English and German; Italian and / or French would be a plus
