As a Director Process Architecture you will represent a key function for sustainably securing our competitive position in the field of pharmaceutical engineering and for the further growth of the Biopharma & Life Sciences Business Unit.
In this position, you are the contact person for customer inquiries in the area of process architecture, help build and maintain customer relationships, assist our teams in conducting feasibility and concept studies, help ensure that customer projects are executed at an exceptional level of professionality, and help develop our junior talents both professionally and personally. You are able to work with the teams to develop and present project options to the customer that add real value within the project constraints.
You contribute to win proposals by showing superior understanding of customers’ needs and knowledge of the state-of-the-art solutions. You present your ideas to potential customers and win their confidence with cost-effective and functional layouts for pharmaceutical facilities that are compliant with regulatory requirements and cGMP expectations.
Your main deliverables are conceptual layouts and sections for site master plans, production buildings and ancillary areas, preferably drafted with Revit, Google SketchUp or similar tools.
You will be in regular exchange with our global SME team and help to keep our capabilities and working tools up to date and globally harmonized.
Based on your professional experience, you know the market requirements in the pharmaceutical engineering business. You are actively involved in international professional organizations, e.g. by holding lectures, moderating roundtables or contributing to the creation of Best Practice Guidelines and position papers. You represent the company as an experienced and competent ambassador and contribute to making us the first choice in pharmaceutical engineering in Europe.

Location: You will be based in the Basel office and will mainly support the European market from here, exceptionally also projects outside Europe. The position involves limited travel.
