As a member of our cross-functional metrology development centre you are involved and responsible in the entire firmware development. Software Engineer C++ / Computer Vision

This appeals to you

• Software architecture, design and testing of low-level sensor drivers and components (Win10)


• Develop Multi-thread, TCP/IP libraries for real-time image processing and filtering


• Verify and maintain the Firmware for our high-precision triangulation sensors


• Participate in system, software concept and architecture reviews


• Maintain automated built and test environment (Jenkins) including production tools (C++, C#, .NET)


• Do product maintenance and 3rd level support


• Close collaboration with local and global Hexagon project teams, including occasional travel

 

This is you

• Master degree or equivalent qualification in software or electronic engineering


• 5+ years professional experience in software development (C++), e.g. machine vision


• Excellent understanding of firmware design for complex real-time libraries (Windows, Linux)


• Large experience with multithreading, device driver development and Ethernet communication


• Practical experience with source control, built process and life-cycle tools (GIT, Jenkins)


• Knowledge of image processing, compression, OpenCV or metrology as a strong plus


• Excellent communication skills in English and German
