The Nestlé R&D accelerator brings together Nestlé entrepreneurial talents, students, young graduates and start-ups to accelerate the development of innovative products, concepts and system solutions.

The accelerator based in Lausanne is part of Nestlé’s global R&D Innovation network and located at the company’s fundamental research entity Nestlé Research in Lausanne, which employs around 1’000 people worldwide. We are looking for an Innovation Marketing & Brand Strategist for our Accelerator core team.

A day in the life of Innovation Marketing & Brand Strategist


 



  • Act as a CMO for venture teams, composed of 4 entrepreneurs, from day one on the consumer problem deep dive until creating revenue with the value proposition

  • Go deep in generating new insight with modern digital technologies, to create exciting innovative communication, brand execution & sales playbook for each of the 5-10 ventures per year  

  • Identify the best brand fit to the value propositions or create new trademarks for testing out the business opportunity

  • Build the Marketing Knowledge for accelerator participants by teaching, training and coaching them on the job 

  • Transmit your know how and knowledge to our internal and external start-ups by providing training and coaching on brand building, concept writing, storytelling

  • Meet with senior leaders from the Business, operating markets, R&D and other Top Management, to engage and build relations and create your solid internal network 
     


What will make you successful


 



  • Ability to connect quickly and understand the context, relationship builder

  • Simple communication, straight to the point

  • Courage and creativity to do things differently

  • Education and/or experience in Marketing, Brand management, Concept validation 

  • 5-10y experience in Innovation, with product launches in FMCG

  • Multicategory and multi-brand experience in concept writing, testing and refinement 

  • Experience in Digital marketing and e-commerce, growth hacking is a plus

  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
