The Opportunity
We are looking for you as a highly motivated Head of Solution Marketing & Operations to support our efforts in this new business environment.
As Head of Solution Marketing & Operations (Sub-Chapter Lead) you will report to the Head of Marketing (Chapter Lead) at Roche Information Solutions (RIS). Your primary role will be to lead and coordinate the development and implementation of agile solution marketing strategies and plans. Furthermore you will
Lead and oversee the development and execution of solution marketing strategies and plans for Roche Information Solutions and the Customer Areas Lab Insights and Provider Insights, in close collaboration with the commercial and marketing teams
Ensure insights-driven, customer-centric solution marketing with impactful value messaging and content for the digital portfolio and services
Oversee the day-to-day operations for all marketing activities in product and solution marketing
Build and lead a customer-centric, high-performance and innovative Solution Marketing & Operations team
Craft and establish the key principles of agile marketing in collaboration with the product marketing team

This is a newly created role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the remit of the team as it evolves.
Define and communicate the portfolio solution marketing vision for Roche Information Solutions, anchored in 'true' customer centricity.
Drive the definition of standards for ground-breaking marketing across Roche Information Solution and Roche Diagnostics Solution digital product portfolio
Build brand management and develop a clear positioning of the RIS portfolio and brand architecture
Ensure marketing excellence and strategic management to identify, develop and drive innovative and customer-focused strategies that showcase the broad spectrum of our solutions and services
Supervise and empower the team to execute the marketing plan and implement agile ways of working
Drive the creation of a multi-faceted portfolio of compelling stories and materials that support innovative marketing, demand creation across diverse client segments and campaign execution
Oversee the development and execution of the digital marketing strategy in collaboration with commercial and product marketing teams as well as corresponding parties within Roche Diagnostics Solutions.
Ensure and execute customer-centric solution marketing by implementing insights from market, customer success, customer experience and UX research
Lead the recruitment, management and effective use of global agency partners
Build thought leadership for Roche as a leader in digital health in team work with product marketing and communications
Craft and establish the key principles of agile marketing in collaboration with the product marketing team
Establish a marketing analytics program to monitor and ensure marketing effectiveness, make pioneering decisions and drive the generation of customer insights programmes
Support the dissemination strategy of the Evidence Generation and Scientific Communication team.
Who You Are

Moreover you bring:
A passionate and forward-thinking marketing leader with 8 + years of experience in the healthcare and diagnostics industry with a focus on marketing and product management for digital health products and services.
Proven track record in positioning and messaging for products that serve multiple use cases and targets, as well as executing solution marketing campaigns
Experience in third-party vendor management, including evaluation, contracting, budgeting, scheduling and project management
Self-motivated with a genuine passion for solutions marketing and a strong work ethic, as well as a keen eye for business and innovation mentality
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication/presentation skills
Experience working in an agile work environment, thorough understanding of agile software development methodology and leading highly matrixed teams
BS/MSc in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
A relevant postgraduate qualification would be desirable (e.g. MD/PhD, MBA; or higher degree in a relevant field).
