Senior Transaction Manager Commodity Trade Finance, Soft Commodities - Geneva

Your field of responsibility

 

Join us as a Senior Account officer in our Commodity Trade Finance Soft Commodities team. Together with the Relationship Manager you build a strong Front Office team in Geneva and take over the responsibility to sell transactional trade finance products with the focus on soft commodities. You monitor the whole life cycle of a transaction from acquisition to its repayment ensuring that proposed deals are in full conformity of the banks risk appetite.

The Commodity Trade Finance team is a strong collaborative team who works very closely together with the Risk Management and different other departments providing trade finance products. Many of our new colleagues in this area have previously held roles within a Commodity Trade Corporation. Your skills and experience

 

  • A university degree in economics, business administration or college diploma with higher education

  • Minimum five years professional experience in commodity trade finance and solid knowledge in the area of financial analysis

  • Knowledge and experience on soft commodities is mandatory

  • Experience in tracking of hedge positions (physical market versus future market)

  • You combine social competences with good analytical and organizational skills

  • A talent for numbers and good knowledge of MS Excel 

  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in French as well as other European languages is a plus

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and tasks, along with orchestrating results across a diverse group of internal partners
