Position Summary


 


As a Global PR Manager, you develop and implement proactive PR activities to inform external stakeholders about the company’s activities in line with business priorities and develop relationships with key media to respond to incoming media requests. In this role you will create content to increase understanding amongst external stakeholders of the company's strategy, purpose and achievements to positively shape public perception, enhance brand image and brand equity and protect the company's reputation to establish Nespresso as the most desired and responsible coffee brand.

A day in the life of a Global PR Manager


 



  • Develop and coordinate an impactful global media relations strategy and PR campaigns 

  • Develop and maintain strong fruitful relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 Swiss and international media, ensuring constructive exchanges, proactively pitching stories and reducing any potential coverage negativity

  • Ensure robust media monitoring and media measurement framework, determining appropriate KPIs, assessing performance and providing consolidated overviews of PR activities

  • Prepare and advise spokespeople and executives for their media activities, developing storylines, messages, Q&As and ad-hoc briefings.

  • Manage all media relations related to Nespresso's three production centers

  • Manage the corporate website, developing and implementing an editorial strategy and calendar supporting business priorities, writing content, and ensuring an up to date always on content informing about our company


What will make you successful


 



  • University degree in communications, PR etc. 

  • 7-10 years hands-on experience (agency or client side) in PR, communications, or media relations with clear results in brand building and/or reputation management

  • Experience of working with High end/luxury/ premium brands would be an advantage. 

  • Track record of successful media relations; contacts with Swiss media highly desired.

  • Sound understanding of online communication, website, and social media. 

  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.

  • Bilingual French and English in both written and verbal skills is a must, German is an additional asset
