Your team

The position will be based in either Geneva, Zurich, London or Frankfurt.

The RFP team helps to acquire new business by responding to investment proposals from potential clients (including central banks, pension funds, insurance companies and distributors) using a project management approach. The main responsibilities of the RFP Writer are to prepare our response to these requests for proposals (RFPs) across various asset classes (traditional, specialist and alternatives).
 

Your role

• Reporting to Head of Institutional Marketing and Business Pro-posals, you will be responsible for completing Pictet Asset Management’s responses in German and English to requests for proposals and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) for investment management services, and to pension consultants’ questionnaires while adhering strictly to our compliance rules.


• Ensuring the RFP machine library is kept up to date.


• Liaising with investment managers, business development, client relationship management, product specialists and other business units to coordinate the efficient collection and presentation of information/data.


• Sharing information with the wider Marketing & Product department.


• Establishing effective working relationships with other team members in London, Geneva and Zurich, as well as with other Pictet AM and Pictet staff around the world.


• Delivering other one-off or project work as required.

Your profile

• A university degree in Economics, or qualification considered equivalent.


• Two to five years’ experience in asset management. Candidates with more experience also strongly encouraged to apply. Your experience should touch on RFPs, though it may not be the only element to your role.


• Previous experience of writing for an investment audience and some understanding of different asset classes would be an advantage.


• Strong communication skills, with an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.


• Fluency in German and an excellent command of English are essential. A good knowledge of Italian would be an asset.


• Skilled user of the standard MS Office applications.


• If position based in Geneva or Zurich: must be residence in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
