Biopharm Operations, based in Zurich, Switzerland, is the global head office of the rare disease arm of the company (Biopharm), driving change for patients in rare blood and rare endocrine disorders. With sales of over 2.5 billion USD, Biopharm is a key part of Novo Nordisk and its corporate strategy.


 


The position


 


As the Senior Manager, Multi-Channel Engagement, you will be responsible for leading the development of the MCE strategic plan for Biopharm. You will drive and monitor MCE roll-out, ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration in Biopharm operations and ensuring alignment with MCE efforts ongoing in other commercial units. In addition, you will build organisational capabilities and further develop the organisation to ensure that we succeed with MCE.


As you lead the development of the MCE strategic plan for Biopharm and measure its success, you will create, update and evolve the MCE strategy, in alignment with Local, Regional and Global strategic imperatives, looking at right customer journey sequencing to improve customer engagement. You will define MCE blueprints for new products and revise existing blueprints. You will ensure local activation to deliver the right message, through the right channels, to the right customer, at the right time, together with the cross-functional team. In collaboration with global marketing teams, you will work on the development of agile campaigns, ensuring the management and adjustment of the right content.


You will define MCE KPIs and put in place a strategy to enable the systematic follow-up, alignment, and support to overall commercial data analytics. You will perform analysis on RoI and effectiveness of investments and create use cases for MCE and advocate high impact cases.


To support with building organisational capabilities and further developing the organisation to succeed with MCE, you will establish a centre of excellence for MCE and ensure capabilities building in global organisation, with focus on key affiliates and regions. To drive its success, you will liaise with People and Organisation (P&O), to ensure the right capabilities and review of the operating models related to MCE. You will facilitate best practice sharing across focus regions and commercial unites, to drive MCE and to identify and drive new ways of working to create differentiated customer experiences.


 


Qualifications


You hold a Masters’ degree within business, marketing or a similar field.


You bring a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including a minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales and Marketing and 2 years' in digital marketing.


You have demonstrated, broad marketing and strategic experience, with focused expertise in digital channels.


You demonstrate high digital savviness and have experience working with advanced digital tools and platforms.


You are able to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders across various levels of seniority.


You bring experience working with orchestration engines and CRMs.


You demonstrate high analytical capability, proven strategic leadership, with an ability to synthesise insights, create focus, and influence the organization to move forward


You bring experience working in a global, multinational environment.
