We are currently looking for a Russian-qualified Lawyer to strengthen our Russia-related practice in the field of:

International Arbitration

Our International Arbitration Group, which is one of the largest in Switzerland, comprises leading arbitration practitioners with extensive experience in a wide range of industries and complex arbitration matters not only in Switzerland and under Swiss law, but globally and under different laws.

Schellenberg Wittmer's Russia/Eurasia Desk consists of highly qualified lawyers who have extensive knowledge of the various legal systems with strong networks to top tier local law firms in the region for seamless assistance where local advice is required.

This position is based in our Geneva office.

We are looking for candidates to meet the following requirements and skills:

• You are a Russian-qualified lawyer and have at least two years of experience in international arbitration gained within a top-tier Swiss or international law firm, including preferably some experience gained in Russia;


• You are a native Russian-speaker, perfectly fluent in English (some knowledge of French is an asset);


• You have experience in the field of investment arbitration, especially matters focusing on Russia-based clients or Russia State cases;


• You have practical experience in advising on enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Russia;


• You have excellent academic credentials and have completed specialized postgraduate studies in international dispute resolution;


• You have strong drafting and research skills.
