We Elevate... Your Responsibilities


In order to achieve R&D efficiency and product field quality goals, Schindler has decided tointroduce Model Based Engineering to the R&D engineering processes. This is the core of future Data Continuity and is necessary to achieve the full potential of any implementation of
Digital Twin technologies.In this role you help us achieving this goal by creating the basis for the future about electrical design including migration activities in an multicultural environment. Main tasks include:


 



  • Support and develop solution outline for electrical design and demonstrate the technical feasibility

  • Execute Electrical PoC for new methodology in SOLIDWORKS Electrical (former elecWorks) from Dassault Systèms

  • Support, execute and supervise data migration from Zuken E3 to SOLIDWORKS Electrical

  • Review and assure quality of migrated data

  • Technical cooperation with peers, partners and suppliers

  • Documentation preparation for change management process for ECRs

  • Create documentation for electrical design methodology and provide trainings

  • Define, implement and rollout new methodology globally

  • Maintain new methodology and support/coach others

  • Interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams understanding their different needs and converting them into effective solutions

You are a highly motivated and self-starting individual with good analytical and communcation skills. You feel comfortable working in a diverse and interdisciplinary team and. Further requirements may include:


 



  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

  • 6 or more years of design experience in Electrical & Electromecanical Design with a good understanding & involvement in product development of electrical parts, components and systems

  • Prior involvement in Verification and validation of design and knowledge of product lifecycles and workflows of strong advantage

  • Experience with design software’s such as SOLIDWORKS Electrical, 3Dexperience, Zuken E3 and/or experience on CAD Systems like CATIA V5, V6 and PLM environment like Enovia

  • Working proficiency in English, German of advantage
