In this role, you provide legal support to our core business in all aspects of their operations. Further, you provide comprehensive legal support on labor law topics for Group companies in Switzerland and internationally. The main tasks of this role include:
Commercial Law
Assisting in structuring and preparing internal policies and regulations for Schindler’s core business
Creation and revision of templates and checklists
Training of key stakeholders on legal and regulatory questions relevant for Schindler’s core business
Labor Law
Comprehensive legal support to Schindler Group companies in Switzerland, Europe and partly worldwide in all areas of labor law, including collective labor law issues, restructuring projects, international assignments, social security, cross-border working, as well as contract reviews, drafting of regulations, processes, settlement of disputes, coordination of legal cases with external lawyers and internal departments
Creation and revision of templates, checklists, and internal policies and regulations in labor law and data protection law for Schindler Group companies in Switzerland and in dedicated areas worldwide
Design and provide regular trainings in labor law on different knowledge levels
You have an entrepreneurial approach to the customer-oriented implementation of legal solutions and a high willingness to perform and assume responsibility. You are a dedicated and highly reliable team player, with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. You have strong problem solving skills paired with an analytical, proactive and solution oriented mindset. You are also willing to learn quickly and with pleasure if you do not yet have experience in individual areas.
Master of Law (or equivalent)
Swiss Bar Exam
3 years or more of work experience in a large business law firm or in a multinational company with focus on commercial, contract and labor law
Ability to work independently, with foresight, in a structured and extremely conscientious manner
Work experience regarding Swiss and European product safety / product liability regulation is of advantage
Fluent in German and very good command of English - any other European languages of advantage
