As QM Expert – Governance & Standards, you drive the further development of the Global Process Management governance and standards at Hilti in close accordance with the proven standards for quality management systems. You act as a strategic partner providing guidance and support to the established Global Process Organization. In this context, you are also responsible for the group wide ISO certification and the related audit management in close cooperation with all global and local Lines of Business within Hilti. As the key person responsible for the Hilti´s group certificate, you are the sole contact partner for our external certification company planning, coordinating and steering all facets of internal and external process and system audits. Global IT within Hilti is a truly global team with main hubs in Buchs (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Plano/Tulsa (USA). All locations have highly competent teams who work very closely together. Hilti`s Global IT team is known for their focus on sustainable value creation by translating latest IT innovations into value creating solutions & services. What does the role involve? Main objective of this role is to drive, advance and execute process management governance at Hilti in strong alignment with the business needs of the different Lines of Business in the Headquarter, plants and all our regions. From this crucial position you initiate and support the further development and professionalisation of the Hilti´s Global Process Management System (GPMS). Inseparable part of this role is the responsibility to prepare, organize, and manage internal as well as external process audits and drive all required actions to achieve the necessary external certifications on a global scale. As QM Expert, you communicate with various stakeholders from line level up to board members. Additionally, you will closely work with our external certification company and develop the system further in a structured manner, also from an efficiency point of view. Our Operational-Excellence-Team is a small and independent corporate governance function owning the Hilti Global Process Management System. This group of experts strives for supporting Hilti´s operations to achieve process excellence. In order to fulfill this role, they are helping the operations to detect business process weaknesses, ascertain underlying root causes, facilitate the search for resolving measures, and to describe business processes. Innovative approaches and modern novel applications are used here. All of these tasks are carried out in compliance with established standards for quality and process management systems. The function offers global responsibility and frequent interaction with Senior Management, Process Owners and Process Managers in Headquarter, all our regions, with Lines of Business, with Global IT, as well as with external partners. What you need is:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Applied Science, or similar


• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality and Audit Management, ideally from corporate matrix environment


• Proven experience in the area of Business Process Management (BPM) and Strategy Development


• Minimum certified Quality Manager, certified Lead Auditor would be an added advantage (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 desirable)


• Project and Change Management experience


• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma would be an added advantage


• Fluent in English (verbal and written), multi-lingual preferred
