With more than 200 professionals, our Investment Solution department is in charge of providing sophisticated and personalized investments proposals to our private clients, within this context we are looking for an Investment Advisor in Geneva:

Mission:

Contribute to the development of our Advisory mandate by providing private clients and bankers with proactive investment advice in line with the Bank's investment strategy.

Establish strong relationships with our advisory clients and help them achieve their investment objectives within their defined risk budget. Provide them with well-articulated and proactive asset allocation recommendations and bottom-up investment ideas.

Contribute to the growth of our Advisory mandate by teaming up with our private bankers during the client acquisition process.

Target markets: Swiss and French speaking markets

Investment advice and portfolio management: 

• Provision of personalised and suitable investment advice to advisory clients


• Ongoing monitoring of advisory portfolios (asset allocation, risk budget, performance)


• Provision of regular portfolio reviews to clients

Broader investment support to our clients and bankers:

• Support bankers in the client acquisition phase (presentation of the advisory service, ad-hoc portfolio analysis, etc)


• Presentations of market views and investment strategy to bankers, clients and prospects


• Help in the transition of execution-only clients to advisory services

Generate investment ideas and contribute to advisory publications:

• Contribute to internal investment forums


• Contribute to the continuous development of our advisory offering


• Generate investment ideas and solutions across all asset classes


• Contribute to Lombard Odier advisory publications 

Desired Profile:

• University education and/or recognised diploma in Investment (CFA/CIIA)


• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in an advisory (or portfolio management) function in a private banking environment


• Very good knowledge of asset allocation and portfolio management 


• Extensive knowledge of markets across asset classes and investment solutions. Advanced knowledge of equity markets a plus


• Excellent client presentation and communication skills


• Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and autonomy. Team player


• Confidentiality, ethics, commitment to providing quality service and building strong relationships


• Good understanding of financial and reputational risks


• Excellent writing and communication skills


• Languages: fluent French and English, any other language is an asset
