Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/x) - Design and Manufacturing Transfer


Job Purpose


Time, quality and cost efficient completion of design/manufacturing transfer projects in collaboration with other stakeholders (Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Suppliers, Sending or Receiving Facilities and others)


Main Tasks



  • Manufacturing engineering lead for design/manufacturing transfer projects within defined time, quality and cost boundaries

  • Assess manufacturing related risks and conduct process characterizations

  • Document evidence of proper design/manufacturing transfers including risk mitigation, manufacturing approval

  • Implement requirements of the design and manufacturing transfer processes

  • Lead or support technology or quality improvement activities

  • Engineering consulting for changes and quality issues for manufacturing, quality and suppliers


Job Requirements



  • Engineering degree or HF or Technician grade with several years of experience

  • Knowledge of quality control, risk mitigation and statistical process control techniques

  • Analytical skills, problem solving methods and ability to develop long term solutions

  • Skilled in office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to communicate and to write documentation and reports in English language
