Who are we looking for
As a senior software engineer your job is to build the software that allows our customers to request and manufacture parts.However, we won’t lie to you: Orderfox has seen a lot of change and we still havesome legacy to deal with. However, we’d love to fix that, which is why we need your help. Feel free to ask about it in your interview! If you’re interested in having an impact and applying the best of technologies to our marketplace, we’d love to have you.
As part of this you will
Ship a lot of value to our customers, making their lives easier
Make sure we can change this job ad and remove the part about legacy tech
Build an architecture that scales and is highly maintainable
Work in a cross functional team to build out our platform
Learn lots of stuff you never wanted to know about how to manufacture stuff
About You
5+ years of experience building software
You are passionate about code quality, automation and development best practices
You are an independent learner and love to get things done
You are proficient in English as we speak mainly English at work
You are eligible to work in Switzerland.
If you don’t live here yet, you’re willing to relocate
Some bonus points that will make it more likely you’ll rock this job, like experience with any of the following (the more the better):
Javascript / Node.js (even better: Express.js)
React or Angular
MongoDB / Elasticsearch
Continuous integration
Cloud based infrastructure (even better: serverless)
