NetApp Professional Services are hiring a German speaking cloud and storage industry expert with excellent technology and consulting skills possessing  extensive professional field experience. You will be able to lead and deploy highly complex post-sales hardware and software architectures, installations, and integrations. You will coordinate and communicate with VPs and senior staff members. You will be seen as the onsite and remote subject matter expert with NetApp, IT infrastructure, applications, and Cloud services. You understand and translate customer business requirements into technical solutions and will provide detailed project planning, design, implementation, and final “As-Built” documentation. Further, you will design and architect company marketed solution sets and other custom consulting, follow appropriate escalation guidelines, as required, during customer engagements. To be successful in this role you will maintains excellent verbal and written communications skills in German and English. You will ensures all assigned work tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner  In this role you will be assigned as “Technical Lead” and mentor on teams deploying large, complex, and strategic projects. To do this you have broad and detailed exposure and understanding of a variety of technologies/concepts in a distributed environment. You will act as prime consultant on large & crucial projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.  Interfaces with Sr. Management to provide and obtain information and build consensus regarding project direction. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a technical or business discipline is required.


• Passion for new technologies and the ability to articulate the business benefits of NetApp solutions to our customers is essential. 


• 10+ years experience as a senior technical storage & cloud consultant or as datacenter or cloud architect, preferably working experience with AWS, Azure and NetaApp .


• You're a hands-on storage and cloud architect with experience in a client facing role, preferably have worked in a managed or professional services environment.


• Experience in partner management, operations, and project management. 


• Up to 60%+ travel required (when covid allows it)


• Excellent language skills in German and good English. 

Education

Bachelor's Degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience required
