We are looking for a Cloud Software Security Engineer to strongly contribute to our digital transformation journey. In this position, you will work closely with our security experts, the colleagues in our software unit, and other Hilti business units to evaluate and implement security solutions which increase technical landscape protection and compliance. Through your contribution you will enable Hilti to offer innovative, safe, and secure software products and enhance data protection. You will be part of Hilti’s Global IT team which provides the opportunity to work globally on interesting and value-adding projects. Who is Hilti? Global IT within Hilti is a truly global team with main hubs in Buchs (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Plano/Tulsa (USA). All locations have highly competent teams who work very closely together. Hilti`s Global IT team is known for their focus on sustainable value creation by translating latest IT innovations into value creating solutions & services. What does the role involve? As a Software Security Engineer, you translate security needs into technical application design. You plan, estimate, and implement security solutions in an agile environment. You also need to take responsibility to coach and develop team members about security best practices and guidelines in their role. By teaming up with our product/solution owners, you evaluate and develop adequate security solutions and enhance the quality assurance processes and tools to safeguard our applications throughout their life cycle. You are responsible for ensuring our technical designs and specifications adhere to our security standards by initiating design reviews and regular audits to provide the right feedback. In the Product IT Team within Hilti Global IT, you will work on cutting-edge cloud technologies, with international and diverse team. What do we offer? • You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or in similar fields – PhD is an advantage


• You bring 3+ years professional experience as a Software Security Engineer or in a similar role


• You built up in-depth knowledge of various web-related technologies (such as Web applications, services, architectures etc.)You have experience in implementing Web Application Firewall (WAF) is a bonus


• You are familiar with continuous integration and toolchain (CI/CD)


• You bring AWS and cloud platform as a service (PaaS) security skillset


• You are burning to work with industry standard technologies and shape the company’s digital transformation projects


• With your vast experience in digital security you are looking forward to bring us on the next level
